} Welcome Home Brothers {

This week 12 American familys were given a priceless gift. They have had their loved ones remains returned from a mass grave in Viet Nam. It has always been the policy of the American military to leave no one behind and true to policy our government after intense negotiations with the Viet Namese government was able to recover the bodies of

Marine PFC Robert Lopez, of Albuquerque, New Mexico

Army Sargent Glenn E. Miller, of Oakland, California

Marine CPL Gerald E. King, of Knoxville, Tenn.

Marine Lance CPL Joseph F. Cook, of Foxboro, Mass.

Marine Lance CPL Raymond T.Heyne, also of Foxboro, Mass.

Marine PFC Thomas J. Blackman, of Racine, Wisc.

Marine PFC Paul S. Czerwonka, of Stoughton, Mass.

Marine PFC Barry L. Hemple, of Garden Grove, California

Marine PFC William D. McGonigle, of Wichita, Kas.

Marine Lance CPL James R. Sargent, of Anawalt,W.Va.

Marine Lance Cpl Thomas W. Fritch, of Princeton ,Ky.

Marine LCP Donald W. Mitchell, of Princeton Ky.

These men gave their lives so that the cries of Liberty and Justice will never be silenced. They were killed in a ten hour battle on 9May,1968 on a patch of muddy ground about the size of a football field. Their remains were discovered in 1998 and still more in 1999. It has taken almost six years to do the forensics,.
Four of these fallen heroes will be buried by their familys and the others will be interned at Arlington National Cemetary. A greatfull nation salutes you and a brother welcomes you home.

I must respectfully disagree with this one, George.
The American government will and has left men behind...they were called prisoners of war.

Let me give you a name.
Mr. MacNamara. He would do whatever was politically expedient to the soldiers and sailors of Viet Nam.
I am glad these brave boys are home. It has only took 40 years.

True, but that has not always been government policy. I am also happy to see these brothers home and saddened that it took so long. But, thus the horrors of war that only those that have been there can ever really understand.

One more thing I thought of per your drunk driving post, You could always go out and pull a spark plug wire or two from their cars and when they can't start the car, you take them home!
