Hi George, saw your comment on my post today and added one. I appreciate it Bro. yeah, it was a tough period. I was never station 'in country'but flew in and out a few times. I did lose some friends, as we all did and it hurt and pissed me off as it did us all. I have to tell myself each day now to just keep my cool about this thing in Iraq. I still believe that we did the right thing by going in but fucked up by the numbers after we took Bagdad. It looks like another gtodam half step effort just as it was in Nam which just get people blown away needlessly. " It don't mean nothing" was a phrase a lot of us used during the Nam years which meant mostly it is each other that counts and the rest of this shit just don't mean nothing.Thanks for the reply Bro and take care. I don't get serious to often-it is easier to laugh than to cry.
